Overview

Sea creatures are powerful monsters encountered on the open waters of Sea of Conquest: Pirate War. They are one of the most important sources of Adventure Experience (Adventure EXP), Ship Parts, and rare equipment. Players can receive rewards for defeating sea creatures up to five times per day; additional kills beyond this daily limit still generate Pirate Honor, which can be exchanged in the Honor Locker store for useful items.

In addition to regular sea creatures, special collectible items called Drifting Bottles can be found during exploration voyages and treasure hunts on the open sea, offering rare bonus rewards.

Sea Creature Types

Sea of Conquest features several categories of sea creatures with different difficulty levels and loot profiles. All creatures scale with their level, with higher-level specimens yielding better rewards.

Creature Type Difficulty Primary Loot Recommended Fleet Daily Limit
Sea Creature (Lv. 1–5) Easy Adventure EXP, basic Ship Parts Solo possible 5 rewarded kills/day
Sea Creature (Lv. 6–11) Medium Adventure EXP, rare Ship Parts, Gold Solo or duo 5 rewarded kills/day
Kraken (Lv. 12) Hard Legendary equipment, Ship Parts, high EXP Group recommended 5 rewarded kills/day
Kraken Raid Boss Very hard (3 tiers) Raid rewards, Pirate Honor, leaderboard points 4-player team 3 attempts/tier
Sea Creature (S3 Zone) Elevated (post-update) Improved rewards, Epic+ Ship Parts Well-upgraded fleet 5 rewarded kills/day

Ship Parts and Equipment

Sea creatures are the primary source of Ship Parts such as Sails, Wheels, Cannons, and Figureheads, which significantly boost fleet combat power. Ship Parts come in levels (1, 12, 18, 25, 32) that must match the player's ship level:

Kraken Raid Boss

The Kraken Raid Boss is the most demanding creature in the game and requires a team of four players for a 20-minute fight. The Raid Boss is available in three difficulty tiers:

# Each difficulty tier can be challenged up to three times per day for full rewards. # After the third fight per tier, only Pirate Honor points are awarded for further attempts. # If the team is defeated, players can revive and resupply before re-entering while the timer is still running. # A leaderboard tracks which team defeats the boss in the fastest time. # The automatic matchmaking system should be avoided — an AFK player in the team blocks the fight entry with no option to remove them.

Drifting Bottles

Drifting Bottles are rare collectibles found on the open sea during exploration voyages and treasure hunts. They belong to a category of mysterious oceanic treasures that players can discover while traversing the ocean.

Collectible Common Contents Rarity Discovery Method
Drifting Bottle Rare materials, recipe hints, cryptic maps Rare Sea exploration voyage
Buried Treasure Gold, Pearls, rare materials Occasional Treasure hunt via Golden Compass
Ocean Treasure (general) Gold, Pearls, Resources Common Exploration, temple visits

The Golden Compass is a special artifact that helps players locate hidden treasures on islands and at sea, increasing the likelihood of finding collectibles such as Drifting Bottles.

Connection to Cooking

Some sea creatures and Merchant Ships drop rare ingredients required for legendary cooking and brewing recipes. These ingredients are not obtainable through standard resource gathering. Regular hunting of mid- and high-tier sea creatures is therefore also relevant for players looking to develop their culinary capabilities and craft powerful consumables.

Solo vs. Group Hunting

The choice between solo and group hunting depends on the level of the targeted creature:
