Overview

Ship parts are equipment items that can be installed on every ship in Sea of Conquest: Pirate War. Each ship has four equipment slots, one each for Cannon, Sail, Helm, and Figurehead. Selecting the right parts, combining them into sets, and upgrading them is one of the most impactful ways to increase fleet combat power. Equipping four parts from the same set activates a powerful set bonus that greatly amplifies a ship's specialized damage type or survivability.

Details

The Four Ship Part Slots

Every ship in the fleet has exactly four equipment slots. Each slot accepts only one part of the corresponding type:

Slot Part Type Primary Influence
1 Cannon Attack values and damage types
2 Sail Speed, initiative, or combat timing
3 Helm Armor, damage reduction, defensive stats
4 Figurehead HP, support values, or special effects

Rarity and Maximum Levels

Ship parts come in four rarity tiers. Rarity determines how many substats are unlocked through enhancement. Parts also have a ship level requirement — a level 12 part cannot be equipped until the ship itself reaches level 12.

Rarity Color Recommendation Unlockable Substats
Common Grey Starter only 0–1
Rare Blue Early game 1–2
Epic Purple Acceptable substitute 2–3
Legendary Orange Recommended 3–4
Part Level Required Ship Level Availability
Level 1 Level 1 Immediately from the start
Level 12 Level 12 Mid-game
Level 18 Level 18 Advanced stage
Level 25 Level 25 Late game
Level 32 Level 32 Endgame

Sets and Set Bonuses

Each ship part belongs to one of several named sets. Equipping two or four parts of the same set on a single ship activates set bonuses that significantly boost damage output or survivability. Four-piece set completion is the primary goal, as the four-piece bonus far outperforms having two separate two-piece bonuses from different sets.

Set Name 2-Piece Bonus 4-Piece Bonus Recommended For
Freedom Blade Ship attack +15% Ship attack +18% General DPS, Blaze ships
Burning Crown Blazing damage +8% Enemy ship with Burning status deals 10% less skill damage Blaze ships
Sovereign o' the Sea Ship armor +15% Ship HP +18% Flagship (tank)
Rest in Darkness Cutthroat damage +8% Enemy receives stacking cutthroat penalty (up to 5 stacks) Cutthroat ships
Queen o' Vengeance Artillery damage +8% Additional artillery damage with stacking damage reduction effect (5 stacks) Artillery ships
Banquet o' the Reaper Strategic damage +8% Temporary strategic damage boost after inflicting strategic damage Strategic ships
Abyss Breaker Drowning damage +8% Increases skill damage received on ships afflicted with Drowning status Drowning ships
Sacred Guardian Defensive stats boost Protective effects for allied ships Support / Flagship

Enhancement with Starlight Shards

The primary currency for upgrading ship parts is Starlight Shards. Enhancing a part increases its base stats, and at enhancement levels 5, 10, and 15, random substats are unlocked. Unwanted parts can be recycled in the equipment section of the inventory to convert them back into Starlight Shards.

Parts can also be used directly as enhancement material for other parts — a previously enhanced part passes along a portion of its invested resources when used as material.

Best Sets by Ship Type

Ship Type Recommended Set Key Bonus
Blaze Burning Crown Blazing damage +8%; enemy skill damage –10% on Burning status
Cutthroat Rest in Darkness Cutthroat damage +8%; stacking enemy penalty
Artillery Queen o' Vengeance Artillery damage +8%; 5-stack damage reduction effect
Strategic Banquet o' the Reaper Strategic damage +8%; temporary post-hit boost
Drowning Abyss Breaker Drowning damage +8%; amplified skill damage on targets
Flagship Sovereign o' the Sea Armor +15%; HP +18%

How to Obtain Ship Parts

Ship parts can be acquired through the following activities:

  • Defeating Sea Monsters (up to 5 times per day; level 12 Krakens can drop Legendary parts)
  • Event rewards from active in-game events
  • Cartographer's Corner (exchange tokens for random Legendary parts)
  • Attacking and looting Armed Freighters

Tips

  • Tip: Wait to spend Starlight Shards on enhancement until you have Legendary level 12 parts — upgrading lower-rarity parts wastes valuable resources.
  • Tip: Always aim for four parts of the same set on a single ship; the four-piece bonus is substantially stronger than mixing two two-piece bonuses from different sets.
  • Tip: Match the set to your ship's damage specialization: use Burning Crown for Blaze builds, Rest in Darkness for Cutthroat builds, and so on.
  • Tip: When looking at substats, prioritize stats given as whole numbers rather than percentage bonuses — absolute values are more effective in most combat scenarios.
  • Tip: Regularly recycle obsolete parts in the inventory to accumulate Starlight Shards for upgrading current equipment.
  • Tip: Team up with other players to defeat high-level Sea Monsters (level 12 Krakens) — the rewards include significantly better parts than solo encounters provide.
